Cupcakes and wine

I had a great Valentine's Day celebrating my friends and food.  Most of the day I cleaned and continued organizing my place.  During that time I had a conversation with Big B and he made my day even better...as always!

That evening some friends came by and we enjoyed some homemade brownies, wine (Canyon Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, Bitch and Bricco Riella's Moscato D'Asti), pizza from Papa Johns and cupcakes from the Buttercream Cupcakery.

From top left to bottom right:  chocolate on vanilla, vanilla bean, red velvet, vanilla on chocolate, another chocolate on vanilla, a second red velvet, chocolate, another chocolate, rose and champagne.

The Moscato was really challenging to open and I had to have some assistance.

Overall it was a great day!

It's American?

I am watching the tv show about the Duggar family.  During the show they were also being taped by a French television crew and they said that to have 17 (almost 18) children is American!  It concerns me that this is the image we portray.

What a mess!

I have been trying to organize my kitchen and will move onto other parts of the place eventually.  It is such a mess right now!  Partly because I still have all the stuff I am giving/donating in my house until I can figure out who can use it.

If anyone needs anything let me know.  Right now I have kitchen stuff including plastic storage, some table mats, pots and pans.  I also have dog stuff like bones, and gently used balls and stuffed animals.  Oh and books!

Colorado Eagles Game

My sister and I went to watch the Eagles play the Rocky Mountain Rage tonight.

We had dinner at Rock Bottom before the game, while there we saw 4 different groups of people that we knew in the area...always nice to see people you know out and about.

The game was great.  

There were a few fights

but not enough to detract from the game playing.  The 3rd period ended with a tie, which lead to overtime.  After overtime there was still a tie, so then there was a shoot out...which drew out to the very last shot.  In the end the Eagles won and now we get free Subway tomorrow.

Wife Swap

Wow!  The Wife Swap tonight was crazy.  It was a pageant crazy lady from Colorado and a doctor who plays roller derby from Washington.  During the show the baby only got second in the pageant and the dad was almost crying and the 6 year old son was....I hope people don't think that everyone from Colorado is like that.
