Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford

I read this book because my mom had read it and thought I would enjoy it because most of the story takes place in Seattle. The story takes place in the 1940s and then the current day. I loved the Seattle references and reading about the Japanese internment, which I don't know all that much about. Although Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet was fictional I felt that it had a lot of nonfiction facts contained within it.
